A remark on payment options

The fees of the first table apply for SEPA money transfers, which are strictly preferred to any other payment options.

The conference also accepts credit card payments, but we must add a small, reasonable fee to this as transaction costs are deducted in the payment process by a third party. The reason is simple: We as organizers at HSU Hamburg are a non-profit, public-service research department, and commonly do no engage in profit-oriented projects that require the processing of foreign currencies, so this is an issue that is handled by an external service provider.
