IS-INTER-SOFT: Multiobjective Optimization software for Supporting Interactive Decision Making

Organizers: Karthik Sindhya, Silvia Poles, Jussi Hakanen

This invited session aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from companies and universities together to discuss the latest advances and trends in multiobjective optimization software. A special focus of the session is towards how a decision maker is supported to enable her/him to find the desired Pareto optimal solutions.
Topics of interest to this special session include but are not limited to:

  1. Multiobjective optimization software development,
  2. Learning in multiobjective optimization,
  3. User interfaces development for enhanced decision making,
  4. Integration of optimization libraries,
  5. Efficient algorithms to handle computationally expensive problems with large number of objectives,
  6. Performance testing of multiobjective optimization algorithms,
  7. Design space exploration and visualization,
  8. Knowledge extraction using Pareto optimal solutions,
  9. Novel applications to industrial optimization problems.
